The Oak Lawn Committee has provided neighborhood input on development and zoning issues for over 27 years beginning with the formulation of the Oak Lawn Plan, which became the foundation for the Dallas City ordinance known as PD 193.  The OLC is dedicated to addressing quality of life issues for the greater Oak Lawn area, such as lessening the burdens of government, easing neighborhood tensions, combating community deterioration and, most recently, the erection of the Oak Lawn Triangle at the intersection of Cedar Springs Road and Oak Lawn Avenue.  The OLC is composed of community volunteers who live, work, or own property in the Greater Oak Lawn area and meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Warwick Melrose Hotel.
