Oak Lawn Committee Elects
Officers for Upcoming Year
The Oak Lawn Committee has elected new officers for the
upcoming year, January-December 2010, and is pleased to announce as President,
Rob Elmore; Vice President, Brenda Marks;
and City Hall Liaison, Frank Stich. Mr. Michael Milliken, who has served for the
past seven years as President of The Committee, will continue to serve on the
Executive Board as Secretary/Treasurer.

The Oak Lawn Committee has provided neighborhood input on
development and zoning issues for over 27 years beginning with the formulation
of the Oak Lawn Plan, which became the foundation for the Dallas City
ordinance known as PD 193. The OLC is
dedicated to addressing quality of life issues for the greater Oak Lawn area,
such as lessening the burdens of government, easing neighborhood tensions, combating
community deterioration and, most recently, the erection of the Oak Lawn
Triangle at the intersection of Cedar Springs Road and Oak Lawn Avenue. The OLC is composed of community volunteers
who live, work, or own property in the Greater Oak Lawn area and meets the
first Tuesday of each month at the Warwick Melrose Hotel. For more information,
